Weapon Building Guide

Building your end-game weapon

Step 1

  1. Buy an Unique rank Jaihin Weapon with either Boss Attack or Critical Damage emblem. BA will be cheaper but is less general use since the stat will only apply when damaging a boss. DO NOT equip it. (Note: You can also try to fuse your own emblem weapon, but this is generally NOT recommended as emblem rate is 1-5% and you have to be very lucky to fuse both the right emblem and BiS.)
  2.  Enhance your Unique Jaihin to at least SF18 (~110mil).
  3. If you have alts, pass it through your alts to level it with powders to save powders on your main character.
  4. RANK UP your weapon using Unique Weapon Rank Up Stones. DO NOT FUSE! You can obtain unique rank up stones from Dimension Invasion, Gold Leaf shop, Kerning Tower shop or events.
  5. Pass the weapon through your characters to level it to max level.

Step 2

  1. Add a soul to the weapon. You can buy soul enchanters by buying 2 a day for 1000 gold leaves from the gold leaf shop on each of your characters and pass your weapon through them to use the enchanters. You can also buy it from Kerning Tower shop or from the Trade Station. Buy or fuse for a soul that gives either PHY ATK (Potent) or MAG ATK (Radiant) depending on the stat you need. Recommended souls are Commander or Root Abyss sets (tip: these souls will be cheaper on TS during Golden Apple rotation of the Cash Shop). Apply it to your weapon for % attack increase.
  2. Apply a flame to your weapon. Apply it until it lands on PHY/MAG ATK increased based on %EXP. If you have a few hundred unique flames from expeditions, you can also try to hit 2 lines. The rates of 2 options appearing are: rare – 0%, epic – 0.1%, unique – 0.3%, legendary – 3%, mythic – 8%, eternal rebirth flame – 100%.
  3.  Rank up the potential to Unique and cube it until it’s an optimal potential. You can obtain unique potential scrolls from event shops or from Kerning Tower shop for 15k coins. Check out our Potentials Guide for optimal stats. This can also be done at a later step.

Step 3

  1. Send your weapon back to your main. It should be a max legendary Jaihin with BA or CD emblem with optimal flames and maybe unique potential.
  2. Rank up the weapon using Legendary Rank Up stones. These are given as log-in rewards or can be bought in event shops, Gold Leaf shop, Kerning Tower shop and other shops. It will no longer be freely tradeable at this point.
  3. Max level your weapon using all the weapon level up powders you saved.

Step 4

  1. Exalt your weapon to level 40. This step will vary greatly in cost depending on your luck. Buy or fuse for identical mythic weapons and use them for a 50% chance of exalt success (should be Jaihin if you followed the above steps). Check out our Exaltation guide for more information and calculators to estimate cost. If your luck is average, it will cost around 3.1b if you can buy exalt fodders for around 350mil each.
  2. At the same time, use enhancement scrolls to enhance your weapon. You will do this whenever you have scrolls available once the rest of your equipment has at least 20SF.
  3. Begin leveling your Emblem. Use emblem traces to max level your emblem. You can obtain emblem traces through event shoes or by extracting emblem equipment that you buy or fuse. Do this at your own pace as it will be highly dependent on luck.

Step 5

Refine your weapon to become an Empress weapon. This step is optional, but it can make later progression harder if you skip it.

  1. Mastercraft your weapon at level 40. You can settle for level 38 if your fail count is 5/5, but it will make future progression more difficult. There are two paths for you to choose from: Inherit or Necro. You can obtain pieces to craft the Mastercraft crystal from Chaos Daily Dungeons.
  2. Inherit has 30% success. Necro has 2% success for normal mythic and 4% success for empress mythic. Necro will offer better stat bonuses than Inherit, but will be more expensive to attain as you will probably need multiple tries and fail reductions once your fail count is at 3/3.
  3. The median/average numbers involved for Empress to Necro (~225mil per reduction, 15mil per crystal, 85mil to craft):
    • 60% chance of success
      • 42 attempts
      • 4.2b for attempts, 8.8b for reductions
    • 80% chance of success
      • 83 attempts
      • 8.3b for attempts, 18b for reductions

Step 6a – Necro Route

  1.  Exalt your weapon to level 50 using 20% Radiant Exaltation Stones. Check out our Exaltation guide to learn how to craft Radiant Stones and Exalt Reduction Scrolls. Estimated median cost of 71 billion meso if fodders to craft Radiant Stones cost 3 billion.
  2. MasterCraft your weapon to AbsoLab. You must obtain 600 Stigma Coins from completing Damien (140 coins each time) for each attempt (4-5 weeks). There is a 10% chance of success. After 3 fails, you must create a MasterCraft Fail Reduction Scroll (Ancient) using Ancient rank equipment.
  3. The median/average numbers involved (only considers cost for fail count reduction):
    • 60% chance of success
      • 16 attempts
      • 13b (assuming 1b per CRA gear for reduction)
      • Time: 69 weeks (1.3 years) of Damien
    • 80% chance of success
      • 28 attempts
      • 25b (assuming 1b per CRA gear for reduction)
      • Time: 120 weeks (2.3 years of Damien)

Step 6b – Inherit Route

  1.  Exalt your weapon to level 50. Use clean Ancient rank weapon of the same type as your weapon for 50% chance of success. Estimated median cost of 20-25 billion meso if fodders cost 1.5b-2b. Use the calculator on the Exaltation page to calculate cost based on current prices. You can also make your own by fusing to a random mythic weapon, refining it and inheriting it.
  2. MasterCraft your weapon to a Chaos Normal rank weapon. 30% chance for Inherit normal weapon and 40% chance for Inherit Empress. You can obtain materials to craft the upgrade material by completing 20 commanders a week or by completing Lotus and/or Damien.

Step 7b – Inherit Route

  1.  Convert your Chaos Normal weapon to a AbsoLab weapon. This process will be the most expensive and time-consuming out of the guide. Chaos has a 5% chance of converting to AbsoLab. But, after 3 Mastercraft failures, you must craft an additional Chaos Normal equipment to create the Mastercraft Fail Reduction scroll (Chaos).
  2. To create Chaos Normal equipment, you need to Exalt mythic to level 40, Mastercraft to inherit, then Mastercraft to Chaos. Each piece of gear will cost an average of 220mil to create a mythic, ~3.1b to exalt to lv40 for Chaos Mastercrafting, cost/time of Inherit attempts, cost/time of Chaos attempts.
  3. The median/average numbers involved (only considers cost for fail count reduction):
    • 60% chance of success:
      • 38 attempts
      •  175b (assuming 5b to make reduction scroll)
      • Time: 163 weeks (3.1 years) of Damien
    • 80% chance of success:
      • 65 attempts
      •  310b (assuming 5b to make reduction scroll)
      • Time: 279 weeks (5.4 years) of Damien
